What is the IBAN and the BIC and Swift codes?

IBAN is your International Bank Account Number, which has been formatted in accordance with the standards set by the European Banking Standards Committee so that each bank account can be converted into IBAN. You can find your IBAN on your bank book, on your bank application and by contacting your bank.

BIC (Bank Identifier Code) is the unique identifier available to each bank and is also known as SWIFT (Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication).
