Below you’ll see how to set/change your password, what to do if you forget it, or if your account gets locked. After every password change, you will receive an email notification. If you changed it yourself, you may ignore the email. If the change was not made by you, use the option in the email to create a new password.
Caution: The relevant email is sent exclusively from the address noreply@stoiximan.gr
🧱 Password format (requirements)
For a password to be accepted (during registration or change), it must:
- Have at least 8 characters
- Use Latin characters
- Contain at least 1 letter
- Contain at least 1 number
- Contain at least 1 symbol (e.g. ! @ # $ %)
ℹ️ Uppercase ≠ lowercase (case sensitive).
Example: Stoiximan123! ≠ stoiximan123!
💡 Before logging in, check your keyboard language, Num Lock, and whether you are typing uppercase/lowercase correctly.
🔁 How do I change my password?
Go to Account → Profile → Login & Security
Click Edit next to Change Password
Fill in:
- Current password
- New password
- Confirmation via temporary SMS code (if 2FA is enabled)
Security note: When a password is changed, a notification email is sent to the registered email address of the account. If you indeed requested the password change, just ignore the email. If you are not aware of the change — it could be an action by a third party — click the link in the email to set a new password.
🧩 I forgot my password (Recovery)
Top right: Login → Forgot my password
Enter your email (the one linked to your account) and date of birth
You will receive an email with a link to create a new password
ℹ️ Can’t find the email? Check Spam/Other folders.
🤖 Android: The “Forgot my password” link isn’t working
If the recovery link in the email does not open properly in the app:
- Temporarily uninstall the Stoiximan app
- Open the recovery link from the email you received from “Forgot my password” and complete the process
- Reinstall the app and log in with your new password
To prevent this in the future:
- Device settings → Apps → Stoiximan → App settings
- Default settings / Set as default
- Go to supported URLs → select “Open in a different app” or “Always ask”
🚫 I locked my password!
After 6 unsuccessful login attempts, your account will be locked for security reasons.
👉 Contact us through any available channel (bottom of the page) for unlocking after verification.
ℹ️ If you send a request through the contact form, use the email associated with your account.

Verification details will be requested to locate your account.
Lost access to your email? Have a new email address ready so we can replace the old one.
🔒 Extra security tips (optional but useful)
In every case, you will receive an email notification for a password change, with a “this wasn’t me” option to reset it again. For additional security, we recommend the following:
- Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA): Account → Profile → Login & Security
- Avoid common or reused passwords.
- Use a password manager for secure, unique passwords.
