🔐 Transactions & Security
Transactions on Stoiximan are carried out securely, using the latest data protection protocols. Below you’ll find answers about security codes, bank details and everything you need to know about your deposits and withdrawals.
What is the CVV2 / CVC2 code?
The CVV2 / CVC2 is the 3- or 4-digit security code printed on your card (usually on the back). It is an additional security measure for online transactions and is required for every deposit.
📍 You can find it:
- on the back of your card (next to the signature panel), or
- via your bank’s e-banking.
💡 This code is never stored and is never shared — you only enter it at the moment of the transaction.
What are IBAN, BIC and SWIFT?
IBAN (International Bank Account Number):
The International Bank Account Number, unique for every bank account.
BIC (Bank Identifier Code) & SWIFT:
The international identification codes of the bank. They are used for cross-border or international money transfers.
You can find these codes on the back of your card or via your bank’s e-banking.
📘 Example of IBAN:
GR12 3456 7890 1234 5678 XXXX 345

🔐 Transactions with a Third-party Card or Joint Account
Short answer:
❌ No, transactions with a card or account held by another person are not allowed.
✅ Yes, transactions are allowed from a joint account where you are a co-holder.
📘 In detail:
For security and regulatory reasons, only transactions made by the holder or co-holder of the account/card are allowed, as defined in the Terms of Use (section 3.2).
If the details do not match, the transaction is declined and a relevant error message appears.
