You can verify your account in 2 ways!
You can either upload Identification documents via your Stoiximan account, or you can do it through your already identified National Bank of Greece (NGB) e-banking account
As long as your account is not verified, a pop-up notification on the top of your screen will notify you about verifying it. To do that, you have to go to My Account > Profile > Verification Process and choose the verification method of your choice, following the instructions below
📄 Identity verification via document upload
You can verify your account in just 3 simple steps by uploading the required documents.
Step 1: Log in and go to My Account > Profile > Verification Process
Step 2: Click on ‘Upload Documents’ and upload a photo or scan of both sides of your ID card or the passport page showing your personal details, along with an additional proof of address document from the list below:
Accepted proof of address documents:
The issue date must be within the last 6 months and clearly show your full name, address, issuing authority, and date of issue:
• Utility bill (electricity, water, phone, internet, TV, etc: with visible date and customer name (no quick pay receipts)
• Bank Statement: showing recent account/card activity
• Certificate of permanent residence: available via gov.gr here
• Annual tax return notice from previous year: from gov.gr here via "Print Administrative Tax
Calculation" please cover any unrelated financial details using physical means (e.g. paper)
• Individual Taxpayer Details: via myAADE (by following the instructions here)
• Valid residence permit: You can get it from here
• Registered lease from TaxisNet: (both pages required)
• Income tax return: with E1 registration number
• AMKA certificate: via AMKA offics or KEP. (not from gov of IDIKA)
• OAED | Unemnployment certificate: You can find it here
• EFKA insurance clearance document: You can find it here
• Individual Taxpayer Details via myAADE: You can find it here
Step 3: A bit of patience! The verification team processes documents daily. You can track your request anytime from My Account > Profile > Verification Process
Important notes:
• Documents must be clear and legible, showing all required information
• All document edges should be visible (no zoomed-in images)
• No digital alterations allowed — sensitive info may be physically covered (e.g. with paper)
• If your documents are rejected, you will receive a notification to re-submit them
🏦 Identity verification via NBG eKYC (National Bank of Greece)
You can also complete your identity verification using your National Bank of Greece (NBG) e-banking account, if your details are already verified there. Here's how:
1. Log in to your Stoiximan account and go to My Account > Profile > Verification Process
2. Select "Verification via NBG web banking"
3. You will be redirected to the NBG website where you must log in and review the consent form
4. After granting and confirming your consent, you’ll receive a 6-digit verification code from the bank
5. Enter the code in the popup field that appears and click Submit
